안녕하세요?
My first encounter with the Korean culture happened trough Korean dramas. It started as a joke, with just one or two, as an escape from the stressful finals at university, and leaded to midnight marathons, true gymnastics of the mind with Kim Ki-duk’s movies, unexpected culinary challenges (I eat spicy dishes now!), Korean language classes at the “Sejong” Institute and the position of an Honorary Reporter for the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Bulgaria.
On the “Be K-cultured” blog I will present to you short articles on various topics of the Korean culture, inspired by certain details of Korean dramas as well as by my classes at “Sejong” – topics I, myself, find quite interesting and curious, especially as a culture scientist.
Besides that, here you can find reports for past events in Sofia and information about upcoming ones, which I hope you will be able to attend and have fun!
Enjoy your reading!
